But on mine there are no bars holding the 2 barrels together. Only at the ends.

 
Sorry tinker should have worded it better, joining rib is different maybe to save a little weight, but apart from that looks like same gun

Yours also has the long tang trigger, whereas Jeremy's is short tang......  ;-)
Well fancy that....we are learning more each post.... :wink: (if that refers to the metallybit attached to the stock.....i had that bent tighter when i have the Essivierre stock and forend done).

Like the gun too a gun like that would be very popular down here. Seen plenty of Mirokus but never with a half high rib. Half high CG's and Browning's and even full P 2005 and 2008 models are seen on the UT stands.

edit your rib venting looks to be different though! Is the 7000trap a rare gun??
