begs the question why the 486 when you have that absolutely beautiful centenary ? Is it a rough shooting gun so you don't love up the aya ??

ps

is the 486 a single trigger

Exactly, cost me a gun I won't use again and few hundred quid, less than a monkey including fitting so a great rough gun for that cash!

No 486 is double trigger, straight hand and fixed choke so 'unattractive' to most and a snip, despite being perfect in my mind

good for you mate BUT the aya is absolutely beautiful ?

Jammy bugger. Beats a single trigger any day off the week and none of them stupid choke things.

Enjoy it PP.

Many thanks, its away for corrective surgery at the moment but I'm hoping it will be back for my last 2 days of season, a report will follow..

I shot this gun today on game for the first time and was very pleased with it.  It has been fit to me which is 80% of the battle but the feel and responsiveness was excellent, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a modern sxs (albeit straight hand double trigger) due to heavy weight it absorbed pretty much all recoil.

However it will remain my second game gun, it's not a patch on centenary ( although is also 6.5k less)

I thought they were only single trig ??

I really fancy 28" straight grip, splinter and fc ?

interesting.

the 687 might get chopped in cos I cant shoot the ruddy thing. Shame cos I love it
