My woodturning hobby

When i'm not out shooting, riding my motorbike, or looking at heavenly bodies, with my telescope.

I like to get creative in my shed, i make bowls, platters , goblets, shaving brushes and razors  and pens. I like to turn wood but there are some nice acrylics out there too

Here are a few items i turned, the bullet pens are made from a real 7.62 (.308) round, with red deer antler or wooden tops, this one is made off 5000 year old Irish  bog oak

I don't have a website, I thought about it but don't want to be tied down to deadlines, If I feel in the mood I’ll do some turning. To be honest I just love turning a potential firewood into a thing of beauty, that will be cherished by the new owner.

Take a look at the pictures decide what style of pen you like, and colour of the wood, and I’ll make one for you, free. It won't be exactly the same as the ones pictured are all sold to colleagues I work with, that’s another reason I don't have a website, I sell or give them away to friends and family, well not family anymore, there getting sick of them, only joking, but they all have a few each
