Joe - if you have an issue with someone allegedly cheating in an event - I suggest you take it up directly with the organisers or the governing body. Please don't post accusations on an open forum.

Absolutely right - have corrected...  I thought I had implied that with 'accusations' - the lemsip must be addling my brain.

20 Gauge - Main World.

There were 70 shooters who broke 100 straight in this event. After you shoot 100 straight you have to go to a separate field and shoot a "box" to get into the Stadium field for the filmed shoot off's. 10% (7 people) made it to the stadium.

28 Gauge - Main World.

There were 37 shooters who straighted the 28 gauge event - with only TWO making it through the "box" to the stadium field.

So it all hangs on the .410 event this evening (our time) and it is really close!!!!

Two people are currently tied for the HOA (All 4 gauges added together) on 350 ex 350 so far - Todd Bender and David Scott. Then there are a host (4) other people having only missed a single target with 349 ex 350. Then the UK's Nick Marsden is in a tie for 7th with TWELVE others on 348 ex 350.

So the HOA world title is still very much in balance with 100 x .410 targets left to shoot.

In the HAA (All 4 gauges + Doubles) event there is one person two targets clear of the rest of the field - Todd Bender on 450 ex 450 so far.

There are two others on 448 and a further two on 447 - with only 100 x .410 targets left to shoot this evening.

It should all be wrapped up tonight.

Well i said it was going to be tight.....

Bender shot a 99 in the .410 (looks like missing a high 2 on his first round).

David Scott shot a 95 to drop right out of contention :-(

This currently leaves a three way tie for the 450 HOA title on 449 ex 450 between - Bender, Mike Schmidt, Allen McCannon - who some will know as WAM SKEET on the shotgunworld forum. After Schmidt and McCannon both shot 100 straight in the .410 event.

This currently leaves Bender one target clear of the field in the 550 HAA title on 549 ex 550.

I guess the shoot off's will be later on and i will update with coverage tomorrow as usual.

As for Brits looks like Matt Fallon has done well - 445 HOA and 539 HAA

Also Nick Marsden - 446 HOA and 544 HAA but final placings not decided yet for either of them.

HOA - Main World.

There were three scores of 449 ex 450 and a shoot off took place to decide the winner. In HOA the shoots off are decided using the .410.

Mike Schmidt - HOA World Champion

Todd Bender - Runner-Up

Allen McCannon - Third

Todd Bender - HAA World Champion.

Mike Schmidt - Runner-Up (548)

Brits results:-

Nick Marsden - AA1 (544)
