Some of you have posted that you had a tough time shooting yesterday. I bet it wasn't as tough as mine!

The strange thing is, if there's any targets that cause me an issue it's not a low 8.

Never mind, it happens.

No, but I'll bet somewhere in the back of your mind was the thought 'Just this one for a 100 straight'

Pretty lethal thought process I have discovered ( well not at 100 but even a single straight sporting stand )

To be honest, I was quite relaxed about it but you're probably right.

Well done, I wish I had your bad luck when shooting skeet.  Trying to get myself to buckle down and get on with it when I miss one or two in the first part of the round.  I seem to just give up when I should be trying to save the rest of the score.

I appreciate that my problem is NOT in the same league, but I was using my 12 bore auto for the first time in over 12 months yesterday at a local straw baler. From 9 stands I dropped either the last bird or sometimes the last pair on almost all of the stands. Was it fatigue, complacency or lack of concentration ?   The one thing it certainly was, was bloody annoying !
