The first of my matched pair has just come back from the gun smith after English oiling - took a while but I think it was worth it - I know some like the factory lacquer finish but I fancied going down this route 

Please excuse the framing - not exactly competition winning photos  !!

Photos were taken with different cameras and I know it almost looks like 2 guns as one set of snaps are a lot darker and flatter - anyway gives some idea 

 
Hahahaha - I know - game guns on a clay forum - I appreciate they may not have the strongest appeal to the hard core clay community 

 
Lovely finish and very nice pair mate.

some of us do appreciate a nice game gun, in fact I like my 687eell even more than my DT10eell trap. :)

 
Very nice indeed flying trotter! Just had the factory laquer removed from my Perazzi too, now I have to finish the oiling, only has four coats so far plus the base coats that the smith applied.
