Had a busy weekend with roe, two warm sunny days brought them all out to feed and I shot 9. It's a 90 mile round trip to the game dealer in Perth so I only go if I have 3+ adults to sell other than that I butcher most of them myself. Pic of the van loaded to go to Perth.........

Good going there :) , wish we had a game dealer close to me here as I'd love to buy game regularly.

hamster i use these .. quality is second to none .. all from their estates which are scotland and yorkshire borders and buy one of their 'boxes' and delivery is included .. come in an insulated box with gel packs and shredded paper to keep everything cold via special courier … never had any problems …. http://www.blackface.co.uk/

all butchered and vac packed ready for the freezer

Thanks for that :) , they even do Mutton, don't normally have to pay for those :.: .

That is an excellent recommendation - I've ordered a BBQ box to test.

hamster mutton is back as the 'in' thing … I've tried their 5yr old mutton (strongest flavour out of all they do) and is absolutely amazing .. flavour was just sooo good .. but it has to be cooked slow and long … i normally leave it in a slow cooker for 5 hrs + and it just falls off the bone

you won't be disappointed the flavours from all their meats is brilliant … i order regular and keep an eye out for special offers …. venison is rock bottom with them at the mo … though their 'red' is just … mmmm .. pure velvet .. and where else can u buy red from ?? tesco's don't sell it thats for sure :.:
