www.Firs-garage.com do the Browning version of the Mitsubish ASX. There's a Shotgun & Chelsea Bun one at the moment and it's apparently good for commuting and shooting.

bmw 5 series estate,,,had to buy one as my gun wouldn't lay flat across the back of the 3 series!

Audi A4 quattro avant or BMW 3 series 320 estate both good on diesel and reasonably low tax.....  if your a member of BASC there some good discounts on the volvo and subaru estates with dealers across the country either ring BASC head office to get info on the best deals in your area or visit dealers and ask about the BASC discount quite a good write on the scheme in this months mag

Budget is king, new you won't go wrong with 4x4 versions of either Audi or Volvo estates (or BMW/Merc for that matter), used you could do a lot worse than one of these :
