How did you get on today Al?
Hi Ben, although the wind did pickup a bit, the day turned out just fine.
John has a lot of patience, specially for someone completely new like myself, and very helpful in many ways.
Prior to setting foot on the farm today, i had previously shot at the most 250-300 cartridges at other various sites. Today i must have emptied around 150 carts, tried out a couple guns, shot at many different angles, and speeds due to wind change, all a very good days shoot, thoroughly enjoyed !
Please thank him again for me Ben
I've just bingled the site, thanks for post Phil, a little further out, but will deffinately give the site a visit very soon, attending different sites will hopefully help me gain more experience shooting different angles and there surroundings. Is the secondhand gun shop on site ? Once i receive my licence i will be in the market hunting down a couple of guns for my son and myself.
There is something very different about this sport (this is my general opinion), very challenging in a way not only as in eye/hand co-ordination, but very much how the mind works, there is something there i just cannot pin point at this time, maybe when i get better and more experienced ?
Example, lack of confidence, and at one time today, my finger did not pull the trigger, even thou i was trying to . ????
I got slightly over confident when breaking a lot of clays, didnt say a thing or think for those 6, maybe 8 shots, then i really starting screwing it up. Felt more like a mind game  can play with your head, or maybe it is just me talking to myself .
