Aigle leather inside full length zip.

Top performer still going after 10 years hard winter graft.

Kept in the dark with the sh*t still on in a wellie bag when not in use. Natural water cleans them only (rivers, rain).

How much are they
Well 10 years ago they were..........how am I meant to know that? ..

But ........(is Jonz looking) .......they are French!!

Not as clumpy or posy as British wellies.......but bags of style......they are afterall French.

I am sure you could bingle a supplier near you.

Because........'you're worth it'!

Aigle Neoprene lined for me. About £85 if you shop around.

But I have to say that Muck boots are good value for money.

Le Chameau all the way for me :) Same as Nic, they just get chucked back in the garage after use and only get washed in the river and last really well.

Back when Mother was out beating 6 days a week she used to go through a pair of aigles a season, switched to Chameau's and lasted 3.

Le chameau for me all the way.

A bit pricey but you can wear them all day long in comfort which in my book is worth every penny.

Agile neoprene, really good wellies for cold weather, I spend a minimum of 4 hours a day wearing wellies at work, I've tried most makes, for comfort Agile are as good as any, but where I go beating you need boots, good boots. Miendel.

So you see Tonky, you aint never going to get any sense just millions of view.

It is true that Chams are great ......but mine are better.

However more importantly Andy ......I want to know more about your mother beating something up 6 days a week and why and how it wrecked her wellies???? Was this a Max Mosley thing?? and did it involve whips?? ;)

With a team of 5 Welsh Springers on rotation a whip was certainly needed :.:

Same for me. The parcours are very warm. You can't wear them unless it's below 7 degrees! I have an older pair that are looser with thinner neoprene for when it's not freezing.

Le Chameau neoprene are good all winter. They are made using natural rubber near Falaise France. I visited the plant and wrote a lovely article in Clayshooting USA. They had a great Canadian distributor that outsold the US who has 15X greater population! They decided to hire their own sales force and bypassed their Canadian imprter. Le Chameau is owned by a major sportswear outfit that now has no idea about how to market Le Chameau. The Le Chameau brand has THE best boots and some fantastic clothing made in Hungary and NOT China.

Bucking the trend.

I have a Pair of Hunter Balmoral Bamboo Carbons.

I also have a pair of 3/4 boots La Crosse they are very very good. If abit rigger/pikey style.

Aigle............'The best' boots ever (especially their Wellies) !!!!!!!!!!

I'm a big Aigle fan as well - I have the 'Prinza' boots which are good in the cold and deep stuff - will probably look for a pair of pure wellies this year.
