silver pigeon 1 stock finish?

picked up a newish silver pigeon 1 sporter . anybody know what the original stock finish on it is ?
dosent seem like oil , quite a hard and glossy shine

I wanted a natural oil finish . cost cutting?

When I purchased my new silver pigeon 1 recently, one of the things I liked was the smooth matt finish on the stock. I know most are quite dark and glossy but I liked the look of this.
