Well done Jenny, 5th in ladies and you beat some good ladies and was very close to 3rd and 4th 👏👏👏
Cheers Donna.  Score didn't make any difference to my Premier League total as I'd already got a 71 in my top three scores.  Be interesting to see what the final results are on that when they are available.

Honesberie today, great to see @bisondan and other friendly faces. Really enjoyable course, with no targets set in to the sun! :D

I peaked on the pool shoot I think, was joint HG when I left but imagine it will have been straighted by some of the stars in attendance. Quite a few 1's and 2's away all add up so will not be a score to write home about but always happy to shoot there.

Grange Farm and Honesberie, didn’t shoot either well.  Seem to be over leading everything at the moment but they were both very good shoots and nice to be back at Grange, it’s been a good while.  They’ve opened up the ground by the pond and you walk around behind the usual ground.  It was good to shoot and a nice walk.  Honesberie was good too, I always seem to start badly there. I think I need to go round in the opposite direction.

After yesterday's debacle at West London I recovered fairly well and shot 91 at Honesberie this morning.

My first 90+ reg score since starting back up, been close a couple of times (had a couple at Court Farm open shoots) so nice to get that monkey off my back.
In the money as well 🤑

EJC this morning, with Bonios in my pocket for Pip. I enjoyed the targets and it was nice shooting without having to battle the wind. Found the big crosser on 9 a challenge and managed to miss the first two pairs on 11. Too much gun movement on some fairly slow teals, pretty sure I was pushing over thd top. Raised my hold point on both, lot slower more controlled gun movement and hit the rest. Finished on 80, my best score since the return to comps after lockdown.

Oh and shot with a very nice squad, including meeting El Spavo for the first time.

Pip thanks you for the treats, she never says “ no thank you, I’m full up!”  Typical Lab.  well done on your score.

EJC this morning, birds only, first time at this lovely ground and I can honestly say for me personally it was incredibly hard, probably the hardest shoot I've ever done and showed me quite a few weaknesses in my game... mainly being able to connect with anything fast at a reasonable distance, mainly cos I bottle the amount of lead I need to give! Ended up on 47 so not sure if I should be pleased or frustrated with that, but it is what it is. Enjoyed the first bit, middle bit put me off wanting to shoot for a while (really hammered my optimism!), and the end I found a bit easier again so finished feeling relatively okay about it all.

Yup, went around with Bebo in my squad, who was an absolute pleasure to shoot with... had a few laughs and got some useful tips from both watching and talking to her and Steve, so thank you both.  :thankyou:

Strangely, I found stand 11 quite fun and got my best score of 6 from 8 on it, still not sure how I missed two... but apparently this was a difficult stand for some reason judging by a few faces coming away and comments from our scorer before we got there: guess it can be amusing that complete inexperience can mean you don't understand why it's hard. Still not sure why it was meant to be, perhaps I will someday?!  :meeting:  Glad all of us managed to find that long, long bird on 9 :)

Kibworth today. Very different shooting conditions. Windy and wet, but fortunately only light drizzle while I was out in it. Enjoyed the targets, I'll blame 2 or 3 of my misses on the wind the rest was down to me. Back to my usual dismal self at sim pairs. Also managed to miss three relatively straight forward targets going away to the right off a bank. Hammered all the big battues it was paired with. Daft. 76, which is the best I've shot at Kibworth, so not unhappy.

Aah, was Pip the big black lab right at the end? looked a lovely cuddly old thing. 😃
She is a cuddly thing!  Twelve next month so a bit slow walking around now but you can’t get out the door if she knows we are going shooting! Eager to go even it’s raining or snowing etc.  This photo is of her after a shoot a few months ago, she was knackered!

Hah, cracking. I lost my boxer dog, Charlie, earlier this year... A 13 year old fart machine! Fit as a fiddle, just ran out of steam a bit quicker in the last year but always stayed bouncy. Could have taken him shooting probably, he was absolutely, 100%, deaf as a post! 😄

Anyone from here doing Bisley on Tuesday? As with Bebo, always nice to put a face to a name.

I'll be shooting with Mr Hewland, so from a distance you'll be able to recognise me as the one not smashing the shotgun stock against a tree like an axe cos of a tricky crosser that got away. :)

Phil and I are going along with Pip, we are on at 11.20 I think. Hope to catch up with you.
