Oxfordshire for me as well.  Only the second time I've been, I quite like the feel of the place, more relaxed than some of the Reg grounds I've been to.  Fairly happy with how I shot apart from two stands.  Completely effed up Stand 4, could not hit the first target - was leaving it late and then overleading it.  Had a quick try after we'd shot the stand and attacking it early I got it.  Dropped 3 on Stand 9 that I shouldn't have, hanging on to a slow floaty crosser twice, when I should have just shot the bloody thing.  Even with dropping 8 on Stand 4, managed to finish on 81.

Oxford today and found it, as usual, fiddly in places. I do struggle to shoot targets that require no lead and there were a few of them. Plenty of flat teal as well.

Ended on 82 so bang on average, but no 'X' factor about the shoot today. I will return though, it's on my door step.

Tomorrow is Ian Coleys early doors then Westfield on Sunday.

Very enjoyable shoot at Coleys today, steady in places with nothing too testing. Ended on 87/100. Nice confidence builder that's for sure.

Westfield tomorrow.

Coleys also, a pm start, it was getting very chill and quite breezy in places giving an unwelcome windchill, not too sure Id say “nothing too testing” despite the near sell out entry I wasnt seeing many happy let alone festive happy faces,

Gunsite today, rained all way down stopped just as we started, quite windy for most of shoot and much forecast rain returned on our st8. Managed, as always to miss most off my left and hit with comparative ease most off my right, only the one brain fart which was on a simo going away, being so silly my errors that it did cause an inner rage, twas st11 so daft old sod that I am that tarnished my otherwise decent morning out. The wind & rain became heavier so departed not seeing any scores, there was though some big AAA superstars out at time

Westfield today, my word it was a wet one! Pretty tidy card most of the way around until the last stand. Oh well, ended on 101/120 but some top shots out and I'm pretty sure there will be some incredible scores that don't portray the awful conditions we shot it!

Wesffields super sporting today 107 not sure how that stands

Predict a 114

Gunsite this morning and luckily I didn't get too wet.

Steady course, I shot quite well with 88 missing complete pairs on stands 2, 6, and 7 but some nice straights as well including the last three in a row.

Steady but the last two stands were very stern.

Weather Crap

Still I enjoyed it

Happy with my performance considering ive been out a handful of times this year

Foul weather today at Westfield, gun broke after stand 4, good targets though.
Youve not had much luck with that gun?

Nope and it’s been looked after.  Supposed to be doing the extreme target day next weekend at Westfield but it’s blinking hard work with Lola May much as I love her.

Churchills today. Really enjoyed being out shooting good targets in amazingly mild conditions for December. Stupidly dropped a last pair on Stand 3 after hitting the rest and for some reason couldn't find the second bird on Stand 12. Felt I shot the rest pretty well and overall fairly happy with my 81.

EJC for me too. First course set by Jamie Peckham. I thought it was good; a bit firmer than before, but that bright sun made targets seem further away / smaller than they were. I had a huge dose of in-frontitis and it was a poor day for me. A bit better at the end when I started giving everything 80% of the lead that looked right. I didn’t feel great actually, I think a bit low on blood sugar after going on a pre-Xmas diet.. well that is all the excuses. AGL tomorrow.

Pretty sure I was in front on that target on 12.  Was deceptive angle and the sun turning silver didn't help much.

I noticed that a lot of the targets today had a slight curve on them if you didn't take them promptly.  He's a tricky one isn't he?

Just home from AGL. Another enjoyable shoot, slightly marred by 40 minutes standing around because of a breakdown on Stand 10. Good mix of targets, some closeish quick stuff along with a couple of targets that needed a big gap, especially the lr in the grouse butt. I totally screwed up the sim pair on stand 5, but did OK on most of the rest of it and particularly pleased with a 6 on the grouse butt stand. Finished on 78.
