Storing, mine (2000 ish) indoors locked and safe, in the dry not near heat source in effect of sight and mind, as for ready for use (> 250) boot of car or shooting bag, been very cold here at times and not noticed any effect at all.

I fill my boot up with 2-3 cases at a time and leave them there until they run out, every 6-8 weeks at the moment. They do get a bit cold at the moment but doent seem to do any harm as far as I can see.
I presume you're not married Ed?

My boot is full of her crap, while hers is nice and empty & clean  :banghead:

I have 3500 holding my office desk up.... The wife isn't impressed as apparently MY office looks like a storeroom...

The was me thinking it was MY space now the garage has been invaded.

I must lay clay mores next time....

I tend to leave the slabs next to the woodburner...when the cartons start smoking I know they are at room temp.....
Brilliant idea.I have a small portable oven that plugs into the cigarette lighter in the car.......it works really well and keeps the cartridges snug.....only trouble is that you can only get a few in at a time....I got it on eBay....but I have heard that......you can buy them through the........oh what's it called.....(those gypsy 'type' vehicles used by wife swapping clubs) .......yeah I remember.....the caravan club...!!

Edited due to precious sorts on here who like to make trouble in any empty van.

Edited to say that any empty van....does not mean that it is a worthless van.

Edited because 'the van' has sent me a pm and wants to be called a Romany Transporter (because its favourite film is The Transporter) and it wants to distance itself from the very boring non-decorated vans used by The Caravan club 'types' for wife swapping!!! (And everyone knows they have no history because they were only born in the 60's)

Edited because certain people on here want to see a picture of the van but after a PM to the van it said that it does not want any publicity.....it likes to keep some mystery surrounding it.

Edited.......look will all of you stop sending me PM's.......I do not care if the publicity surrounding this thread might get you a new wheel or a new paint job......I hate vans (or sh*tters as they call them in the trade - as one of the PM's informed me).

Edited to say thank you to all the people who....overnight.....filled up my 'inbox' with pictures of vans. You are all very funny......hahaha.

Edited to say thank you Clarkson.....that video shows a great use for a van.

Edited to say.......No.....I am NOT going to call it a 'caravan'.

Edited to say......I have now hit the ignore button.

Kept mine in an attached warm garage until now. Just built a nice new workshop with plenty of space to bulk buy! Will be a bit cold, but I have th ideal solution. Have an electric cool/warm box that plugs in the boot of my car, can pre heat my cartridges to my desired temperature on the way to the ground!

I'm ashamed to say I did actually do this once, UT wch 2009, was as hot as hell and was told my 28g would get as thumpy as love if left in a hot car so had the cool box on low full of cartridges. looking back I am really not proud of it!

well i must say i would not for one moment question the morals of charming people without fixed abode who travel the byways of our great country.....lest I have my dogs stolen, my roof stripped of lead and petrol poured through my letterbox.....
