Well he wasn't interested enough to read his Pull magazine or look at the website so apart from knocking on his front door and inviting him to attend personally..................
you really are a miserable old git aren't you, complain when i am negative...complain when i am positivei did make a suggestion as to how people could be informed spammers block email the whole country and they don't seem to struggle but i guess the telegram is modern to you.

interested people could simply register there email and then you could let them know in good time.

as for reading pull word for word i will as soon as they stop putting in pages of adverts for there own profit making courses, gun tests that might actually have a negative in them and Dorset cpsa becoming a regular contributor rather than an irregular one.

i have just renewed my CPSA membership after seriously considering not doing so for weeks as they seem to do nothing bar supply insuranceand allow me to shoot registered shoots...but i thought bugger it show your support.

now i am beginning to think that was pointless.

try hiding your personal disllike of me for just a minute and try to be OBJECTIVE! and possibly no matter how hard it is for you...HELPFUL!

:fie:  Its not a personal thing Schmoking, He's from Yarkshure dislikes anyone south of the penines?

i belive what your saying about him being from oop north is right, but he made it personal a while back...bit sad really as his many unwanted/unnecessary comments may discourage some people.

fortunately i couldn't give a F>>>!!

Will you pick those toys up yourself or do you have someone to help you?
obviously you think you are hilarious ian...i hate to break the news i ain't impressed.

you may beleive you are winding me up,personally you seem to make a fool of yourself........whats it like in la la land/

Clays are ten quid a hundred and cartridges are free, the targets are changed twice a week. Bacon sarnies are non-fattening, the loos are immaculate and centrally-heated and the owner is a real nice bloke.  Thats fairly close to la-la land I think. It would be a cheap shot to mention an embargo on dick-heads so I'll leave that out.  :sarcastic:

anyway bored with that so lets call a truce...back to the original point.

if you really want more people to attend you need to expand your method of communication if i get an email i feel is important i leave it in my inbox to remind me.

if i read it in a magazine in the small room in the morning no matter how good my intentions it will likely be forgotten by lunchtime.

if you set ujp a regional email if there is not one people could simply register there interest and you could copy and paste there email addy to the list, this would also allow you to contact people likely to be interested and support other regional items/events.

i appreciate you may not use email as a first choice but most people check it on a daily basis or are notified that they have new mail immediately.

just seems it would be a good tool to add to improve response.

anyway point made, use or do not at your desire.

Obviously you have no idea Nic? we still use the most trusted drive possible ?  STEAM!

Last evenings meeting was very good with a huge attendance from all counties in the region. Couldn't estimate the number but it was more than ten. Tony Read is Chairman again.

:fie:  I stll don't do politics and just wanna shoot! :fie:

9 of them worked for Crooks

Why don't you get your own house in order before you come on here looking for mischief? We're doing fine thank you, money in the bank, full set of officers and a full committee with meetings already planned for the rest of the year. How about you?

Too busy watching television to get out of the house then?
nah...its called a social life.

thats why i pointed out about the lack of notice in the first place.

that was the case in point.....obviously you are happy to just keep to your little group so you can winge about people not turning up or showing an interest.

gives you something to do i guess.

and if everything is going so wonderfully why were you complaining about it?

so do we have to scan every issue of pull front to back to find out when the meetings will be?

obviously so many people turn up because of the warm welcome from you.

Mind you.....we do not seem to lose shooting grounds...we have plenty of those to keep us going....
By that observation are you suggesting that the closure of shooting facilities in the region is somehow the fault of the SW committee?

Its not my little group as you say, its a committee of which I just happen to be a member, happy to contribute what I can at the appropriate time to provide entertainment and sport for a few who choose to take part. Or not, as the case may be.
