Very important point here. It is always, and with no exceptions whatsoever, better to be wrong. The very worst thing you can ever do is to be right so just eat the smegging toast and let the devil take the hindmost.

Amen! If your significant female, should ever utter the phrase "it must be my fault" or "I must be wrong then", then you really are in a sticky situation! At this point, it is quite probable that a successful conclusion is beyond hope and as such, your best bet is damage limitation.

I always appear to agree with my 'housekeeper', I know which side my toast is buttered on regardless of it's shape.

The old rules still apply though,if I drop the toast it always falls butter side down!!
