To answer the original question yes i keep a record not sure why but i suspect its an old habit that stems from the days before tinternet when cpsa gave you a card every year to record your scores. I log the gun i used the cartridge the light and weather conditions and any contributing factor as to why i was Shiite on that day such as bad back etc. Sometimes i look back to see if there is a pattern but unfortunately there is not. Seems that i have shot good and bad with every gun and cartridge at some point and even shot well when my back was agony. So what do we conclude from this.

I used to keep a record like that many years ago, back in the old days. I found no real pattern either, however I did notice that one particular gun worked better for me than the others on average, but not always.
