How about a session with Rob Eaton at Wylye?
Good shooting Clynt. I found the wind bad on the home straight, but good shoot I thought.Wind made it tougher later on, started pretty good, liked the layout bar the std with the report midi's RH side of the wood !!! 13 shots to complete the 4 pairs lot of no-birds>>>>>> good pair though but close to throwing the toy's out here ...... cost me a few and took it to the next std the long curler and the fast longish midi 8 away on these 2 !!!!!
Pulled me trousers up and straighted the next 6 stds to turn in a 88, surprised it was not heaving ? would have put it down as a 92-93 shoot.
some score that 96 by S Rudling
Payout very fair, maybe wrong but would have thought not more than 100 entry wise ? expected a long old round thats why we turned late-ish, no where near as busy as many predicted,
may have not suited every one but for me it was about right
Fell away to a disappointing 79. Dropped 3 of the last rabbits, behind I was told. Enjoyed it though. How did you fair Stew ? when I saw you thought that may be your last std so just said hello, did not want to put you off nattering ? yes I thought it was very good shoot and to be honest not what I was really expecting ........streets ahead of the England selection shoot at Beverly targets wise though !!!! (my opinion)
doubt you were behind as it was quartering ? shot straight at it with the gun barrels travelling with the speed of the clay >>>cylinder choke -Viper smoke !! even at that range the pattern was just a little bigger than a football !! technically rabbits are alot slower than anything air born m8 . Try shooting at the point where the clay touches the ground.....easy to shoot over top of a up-hill bunny, which to the eye may look behind !!!!!!Fell away to a disappointing 79. Anyone got any full scores??? Nothing on their webpage.

It's often the same at the end of a grading period (like now). There are a good few folk who have majorly progressed and are well due a move up a class..
Your right Clynt. Kirk Bridges watched me shoot it and he stated I was a bit behind it, yet it looked over the top to me when the pattern hit the ground behind.doubt you were behind as it was quartering ? shot straight at it with the gun barrels travelling with the speed of the clay >>>cylinder choke -Viper smoke !! even at that range the pattern was just a little bigger than a football !! technically rabbits are alot slower than anything air born m8 .
