I booked onto the Jack Pyke a good while ago, but a few weeks ago was told that I needed another bit of back surgery.  This took place a couple of weeks ago now with recovery progressing nicely.

I was concerned however, about the JP and having to walk round. I am getting a lift with a good friend (thanks Rupert) but the long walk bothered me. In  a conversation elsewhere, Andy Grey (fuzrat off here) suggested that a buggy may be available for hire.  I rang Sporting Targets, explaining to the young lady what my problem was. She disappeared for a couple of minutes, and on her return said........

Yep, we can hire you a buggy

How much? Says I.......

A fiver!!

Fantastic! Thank you so much guys. Great people! ???

I'd pay that on a flat piece of ground, wish there was an economical way for grounds to offer this sort of service. I'd better rush off an e-mail to Hamiltons, they're sure to file it in their R&D file.  :D

The buggies there are a great idea, I have no problem with walking anywhere but it saved so much time when I had my lesson.

Its a big ground.

Got a sleigh sitting unused unti December . ;)

Mind you food for 9 hungry deer would probably cost more than a fiver,

:santa:

argocat...yup was near the top of my list when i was a nipper too!
You can still get them today,  about 3.5K

Dont even think about sticking on one your list for this year either!

Oh! I was thinking Argocat was a 70's cartoon that I couldn't remember, as in Danger Mouse. Which I can.

Sporting Targets is my local club and I'm there every week. The level of service and advice that I have had from the club has been second to none. As a new shooter I was very worried but the staff and shooters at the club have been very inviting.

I shall be there shooting the Jack Pyke on the Sunday :)
