Asking for my friend - he needs an adjustable stock for his 1980’s S687…. Any other there before he pays to have his cut and shunted? Would a DT11 one fit does anyone know?

The DT11 action is wider by quite a bit compared to 68xx series actions, so a DT11 stock is not going to fit. I also doubt you'll find a stock from that era that has a factory adjustable comb, but there are likely spare stocks to be found for not a lot of money. I wouldn't hesitate to have one cut, bent or cast if needed.
