There seems to be a problem with the black chroming as its not just simply blacking the barrels.  They black chrome the parts, take it off and then black it but if you mess up the first part, the blacking won't stay put and it was wearing off after 4/6 weeks every time he sent it back.  He gave up after the fourth attempt.  It'll go back to the factory next time.
Ah black chrome! Didn't know they had that, mmm, needs total strip before anything! Yes perhaps factory is best. I think laurona guns had that finish, looks nice but not easy to re finish!

I love kemen I have shot them and found the feel and balance superb. Hard to get a new one now as apparently they make very few trap or sporters per year. Mike meggison at kelbrook is your man for anything kemen.

I think mike and tony Kennedy were the first to import but I could be wrong.

I remember when Tony was trying to get his replacement parts it took so so very long so now he will go directly through Andy or Chris.  They actually keep these parts in and I think anything that needs factory intervention will do better with Andy.

Ips, Tony would agree he  loves his Kemen - they are basically a cheaper copy of the P gun.  Didn't the man who set up Kemen used to work for Perazzi anyway.  Potatoes potatos, tomatoes tomatos as they say.

lets call the whole thing off ......

Remember Ben Brunton using a Kemen?

Big downside is that the stocks crack for a pastime.

a certain paul120 shot one to good effect untill joining the hunt for the holly gun grail.

I owned it for 10 years. Never had any iissues at all. Not one. and it was used at least once a week at 100  clays.. The Bluing on the sction faded to a wonderful dark purple brown. I was told by someone who knows more than my sod all about the subject, is due the steel used is much harder than on a perazzi and so the Bluing is different.

I was fortunate to own that and my current Perazzi (bought on a whim) as a back up st the same  time. They were like twins..same barrel length. Same Rib etc. If there was a difference in build quality I'd have been strugging to find one.

The reason for selling it was that I wanted a sporter and  decided to keep the Perazzi purely because I wanted to shoot the Perazzi Gran Mondiale and was much easier to buy a new stock that fit  after losing a bit of weight.

Kemens a fantastic gun. Produced in limited numbers, Circa 350 per year worldwide and again from a source that  claims to know  about these things  Kemen have become more focussed on building high end expensive models out of the price range of most people this aparrently now takes up most of  the production limit. (I can't verify this so don't blame me if its bollox) They  have now hard to come by especially as used in good condition.  if I came across one that suited me I'd not have a problem buying another.

Especially a Lux A or Lux B

If anybody wants to give away  a Titanium modle, .look no further. :)

Andy's got one but don't think he'll be giving it away?

I know a man with one who I think he'd be willing to sell, message me for details if interested

I would keep a close eye on kg he seems to be off loading at the moment, so has gone kemen could be following

I owned a km4 for 15 years, far more reliable than either my previous miroku or berettas and IMO the best looking gun I have ever owned. I certainly wouldn't refer to it as a copy of a pepperami as they are both copies of Boss!

I sold mine to finance my new Blaser, would of loved to of kept it, but would hate the thought of it sitting in my cabinet not being used.

I know a certain stock man that used to get all of the NEW Kemen guns to 'ease' the wood/metal fit in order to help prevent just such incidents. I always fancied getting one but he managed to persuade me not to. I have shot them and loved them, but I am aware of a lot of problems with them too.
