I had it roughly set up by the smith in the shop. It already feels like it fits well. I have picked up some bad habits from poor fitting stocks in the past so its going to be a learning curve. When I'm happy with it the tools will locked away to stop the fiddling.

Ah yes the fiddle for a bit then never ever adjust it again routine. I have heard speak of this phenomenon but never witnessed it
