Not much talk about this shoot this week following Westfields last shoot where the blog was buzzing because it was a real testing shoot low scores but enjoyable hard targets !!! Put a softer shoot on and no mention about the shoot !! No shots saying keep it the same guys !! Looking at scores seems more like a fill it in shoot, do the shots who shot this think this or think it was good ?

It was certainly a good shoot, but wont go down as a doddle or as a real toughie. There was a lot of high loopy stuff and maybe more different types of target could have been used, such as the odd low incomer or low crosser.

The very high scores at the top were examples of how good the top 1% are I think. Personally this shoot made me feel more tatty than usual. I found it hard to keep measuring the lead consistently. It certainly wasn't skeet..

I enjoyed it.
Enough to keep you thinking.
Nothing I couldn't hit.
Enjoyed the Whitegold too.
Always commend the shooting Steve and Ali put on.

Excellent as always.  I just did not comment because I have put myself on the naughty chair for my appalling  attitude to the way I shot the course on Sunday.  I really have been looking at my inner self this week and trying desperately to understand why I sometimes just totally give up just because I have a few bad stands. I think it may be because I am at that point where scores in the 60s are possible with ultimate discipline and concentration and if I start off badly I kind of know I will not be able to catch up and that just does it for me.   I am working on it.

Good shoot, certainly wasn't a filler inner
