Westley does partridge

I had the honour of loading for my very good friend westley today on a partridge day in Cumbria. A very enjoyable day with really good team of guns.

Thank you for those kind words ips, Oh and in case anyone spots the deliberate mistake, yes, I switched guns after lunch as I wanted to use my recently acquired 20 bore. An absolutely cracking day was had by all.

Oh and not only was i loader but also designated polaris driver....again

Yes, but we did see some excellent birds and given a bit more wind  ???  Still, due to selective shooting from the Gun Team, a LOT of birds remain for later in the season. The birds that I have are in great condition and I look forward to eating them.

Yep, team quite well behaved, best bird in both days was a pigeon though!!  Easy to see where Nickerson style big bags came from though ...
