After a rather good nights entertaining, my groggy head didn't fancy shooting today. Only a late call from a buddy to go late to Weston got me out.

Lovely to shoot in almost perfect weather! A firm but very enjoyable shoot as ever.

I started opposite the pool shoot (away and rabbit). Missed 1 then dropped 2 on each of the next 4 or 5 stands, just messy. Found some form and dropped only 1 on the middle 5 stands. Wheels fell off at the pond stand, dropping 4. Then 2 more away on the platform and a straight on stand 7 to finish on 84. It was leading A when I left but tbh I didn't feel it was enough and maybe somebody will put in a few more.

HG was 92 when I left, but there were still some good names out shooting late.

Any news?

Hey Gary for a man of your calibre that's bloody good!!!!!!!

Well shot Gary must have been my team talk before starting , I may have to charge in future mind

Steve

Will I think you shot well today to win a class and so did Gary who by the way told me half way round he was doing alright

The clays today all looked hit table but if you didn't give 100 percent concentration on each one with some tricky back drops you could easy miss a few

I was on 75% until half way round. No reason. Hence I felt it wasn't enough. Hope you don't mind but I shot the sim teals with second bird on the drop. Not sure how many straights you had on that one, but the scorer seemed impressed. :)

(Sorry Matt, Steve and I are on the wrong thread now..) fixed
