Nice cool morning, perfect light (overcast) and several thousand tons of ground water had drained away since last time. No excuses!

I met with Teepee and Mark Jones for a round of enjoyable company. We set off starting by the pond and went clockwise. Was this the easier bit to begin on? Dunno.. But I was just dropping the odd bird to be 6 down after 7 stands. Not unhappy with that, as a few good stands were under my belt. Then I decided to drop another 7 on the sim teal and rl crosser. Disaster! Actually it was 6 but the ref couldnt see the crosser shot through the tree.. Did this hard stand need to be a sim pair?

I then shot the rest with a rattled head, missing three easy ones in addition to a few that just deceived me. Ended on 82, which should have been a lot higher really. Even with the disaster stand..

I believe Martin Myers was leading on 94, but others still to come in.

Another nice shoot with the whole circle in use, great.

How did we all do then? Saw a few familiar faces and car park looked busy when I left.

Good shooting with you Will, and Mark too - he won't be bringing that semi out to play again in a hurry!

I shot like a fool again, still bugged by the inconsistency - and that's between shots, let alone stands!  I need to get some lessons real soon, or I won't be going up to B class this year, let alone A!!

'Twas a good course, IMO, all there to be shot, nothing silly - except the bloke on the other end of my gun!

But there's always next week!!

You can do it all Tony. Just reduce the 'attack' and concentrate on same (usually less) speed every time. You are close to hitting a lot more. Just consistency.

Started off good shot the pool had a 7 and felt happy, stand 12 first as close to the pool, shot good on first four stands only dropped 3 then met the simo teal and crosser! Never recovered from there ended me on 61, and to add insult to injury my score went up as 59!! Not a good day for me!! :(

Yea he txt earlier to say, good shooting on him, I was torn between wylye and the woods but went the woods way! Good targets just I switched off, I'm off pigeon shooting to sharpen me back up this week!! :)

I just had one of them again today bro, just wasn't to be!!!
I know sometimes it just dont work no matter what..wylye was no walk up the road but was there if ya kept plodding on...mr stone clever at making ya think that looks easy...but at the end of the day nothing is easy you have too give every clay the same respect untill the bugger smashed to dust...always next week little bro..:)

Very enjoyable shoot. Warmed up on the pool 11 ex 12. Moved onto the sporting with mr solomans, started shooting like a bit of a plum -dropped three on simmo crosser and teal. Woke up after four stands , dropped three on the last 8 stands..... 91. Broomfield won on 95.

well shot all - and well done for sticking with it in the cold!

Thought Weston looked a real nice layout but have come home and begged the Beretta for forgivness, I will never do that again. Nice to shoot with Tony and Will a pleasure just hope I didn't distract you too much with my week 1 day 1 antics. Have hidden the auto at the back of the locker and there she shall stay. Feel the need to get out and prove myself now, if only to myself so maybe it has done me a favour after all
