Who has shooting plans for the weekend... I'll start:

I'm off to try Helice for the first time tomorrow at A1SG - with possibly a little sporting practice afterwards.

Sunday - not sure - might take a trip to Wylye if the weather looks good.

Sealand on Sat. and UT at Rugby on Sunday, ( need lots and lots of practice) Weather looks promising for a change.

supposed to be helping out at a private shoot this morning but had flu since monday and cant stop getting dizzy spells, best not to be around guns and flying clays until its cleared up

westfield is definately on the to do list so is another trip to southdown, have a good shoot chaps

Just got back from my Day out! Managed to shoot the grounds promo Browning 725! Shot quite nicely with it but for me a Browning is a browning. Nothing made think yes I want to buy one starightaway. My GTI and my 425 will keep me going for now! :)

The only thing that felt really good was the palm swell! Really nice to grip.

One I had the use of was 30inch but to be honest the only difference I noticed from my 32 is that it was a tad shorter in the stock so it bashed me a little bit if my gun mountibng was off a tad.

Overall good day got Robin hitting the loopers and battues he's been struggling with so looking forward to the monthly comp next weekend now!

Glen.

I managed to pop in to Owl's Lodge on Saturday morning. Weather was good, light breeze.

I enquired to see if UT was on but it was OT only - what the hell, might as well have a go,.

Shot three rounds - dire, awful and terrible. I think I hit double figures in the last round but mostly it was grasping at straws.

A guy there called Brad was practising and he was very handy at it. Pity they don't open more than one Saturday a month as it's so close to me.
