How did you get on at Barbury?
Enjoyed it .

It’s a nice ground, surprised me how busy it was for a Thursday.

Spent a good while chatting with Tom.

Ended up just taking the 694 out . They had a 687EELL but it had just come back from Beretta having had new wood fitted and they were reluctant to let me take that out.

Not sure I can see myself Witt a Guerini, so it’s likely to be another Beretta.

Enjoyed the 694, felt it shot nicely, and where my SIlver pig would have been a little choppy, thw 694 was properly breaking clays.

Have literally just pulled up at EJC now, so will report back later…

Considering proximity and reputation, EJ Churchill is renowned for its excellent service, knowledgeable staff, and a wide selection of guns. It's worth checking them out for advice, service, and potentially competitive pricing.

Ok, so I spent a good couple of hours at EJC- which I still think of as one of the premier grounds in the UK…

The guys in the gun room were very helpful, friendly and not remotely snobby….

Took a 30” 694 out with their senior instructor, which was both informative and fun.

I enjoyed the whole experience, and coupled with the Barbury shoot, decided Ona new 32” 694 which I will collect next weekend….
