Gebben Miles wins the World FITASC championships... more results to follow, but that's the headline!

Great advert for 'quiet dust shooting'.

Good for him. Loads will be buying the video now.

Yep - I'm getting a UK copy for review in the next few weeks...

Have seen a couple of FB posts (Krieghoff and Don Brunt)

Yep, he just just confirmed it on his FB :D

" It's official! 2012 World Champ! To God be the Glory forever and ever in Christ Jesus!"

Ben on way back to the ground to shoot off for Silver.

Gebben took it, was trying desperately to post from the ground, but no internet. Met him a few days ago, very pleasant and clean cut young man. Ben took second place in the shoot off, I think Mark Marshall took fourth, but not sure exactly, the results will be up soon enough no doubt.

I had really expected this to be a soft competition, after all that I had heard about US competitions. It was far from soft in my opinion, there was a great mix of targets, short fast and technical, to great big boomers disappearing into the next state. Will try and write a substantial review in the next few days, but personally, we have both had a fantastic time. The company has been excellent, great squad, and a whole load of new friends.

I can,t begin to describe the camaraderie between the shooters regardless of nationality. So very happy to be here, despite shooting poorly throughout. Having said that, hit a few of the boomers, and they will stay with me for a long time. Very tired now so off to bed, then off to Bass Pro tomorrow morning for a bit of a shop.

Welcome to International shooting Bob, you will find that the camaraderie is a big part of the whole enjoyment and making friends for life from other countries. Glad you enjoyed it all. You will be hooked now.

FITASC never does 'soft' World Championships though, they all have to be won. Who was the guy in 3rd place (the pennant given to Ben looked Italian). I cannot see the face clearly on the Facebook picture sent to me!

Krieghoffs everywhere,

Bloody hell, I may have to eat humble pie and consign the Mirooks to the cabinet for a while

No! second, third and fourth thoughts, been there done that, come on girls, out you come Daddy still loves you.

Well done Ben.

George 8th?????? was he not with it?

Come on Salop!!!

George cannot win every time he is not a machine, give him a break !

George 8th?.....try tied 15th but interesting enough less than 5 clays seperating the top 12.

What happened in the ladies.....where was Cheryl?

Congratulations to both Ben and Graham for collecting individual medals for team GB....anybody know any team scores?

Yep probably!!! No disrespect though after all I am Catholic but if anyone thinks God helps them to win is dillusional I am afraid.

However if this 'Belief' helps his mental game then maybe I better get off to confession on a Sunday morning before I shoot..............then again I better not as i will be there all day and wont get a chance to get out! ;) ;) ;)
