Just before my first spine surgery I managed a 3 over the trench. I don't think I was turning very well :haha:
That must have been at Northampton.I shot in the mid 80s just a few months ago at the Regional Intercounties skeet. I think that's my worst score bar the time spent learning the discipline. Mind you, it was so windy the targets were all over the place.
Would live to... But at Westfield for Fitasc.... I will get one in there soon.Great place now! Sean has put a lot of effort and work into it, looks lovely. And new PROPER toilets now, with running hot water and EVERYFING!!
I'll be there tomorrow Matt, get on down!
I saw the forecast and took my side x side and i'am glad I did,as some shooters on my squad missed high 1 and low 7 because the wind was pushing their guns sideways. I hit 89 which I was quite pleased with. That must have been at Northampton.
It was. It's not often i've not wanted to shoot but that was one occasion. I was lucky, some of the other guys tried to shoot targets that were just about unshootable.
It was standing in an inch of water that I found most off-putting. That and the fact my squad had a fifteen minute argument between rounds 3 and 4 as to whether it was safe to be out directly under an electrical storm. Most of that argument was about how one calculates the distance a storm is from you. Someone actually started a sentence: "No, if you consider the speed of sound is..." :banghead: Then the minute we finished the storm moved along and there were bright blue skies and sunshine! That must have been at Northampton.

Standing out in an open field wet through and holding a lump of metal SKYWARDS You should be OK.

Only thing worse was getting it as a back number in a Worlds.....
