Hi guys does anyone own a browning maxus 2 I'm thinking about ordering one and just wondering if it's worth the money ? does it have a few issues ? Is there a better gun for the same money ?

Question , what do you want it for ?I think It’s a 3 “ magnum chambered semi -auto with a synthetic stock , so its natural home would be for wild fowling , it’s capable of shooting big loads of steel shot . For clay pigeon shooting Beretta make more suitable models . But if you looking for a do it all gun and not serious clays they’re cheap enough .

I think there’s a Maxus 3 sporting gun but I’ve not seen one .

A friend of mine has one.he uses it for pigeon and clays.bomb proof and very pointable too.

I've owned 3 in the past.

Used all 3 on the clay ranges with zero issues.

Superb guns.

Easy to fit and use. Easy to operate and clean.

Never had a problem with any of them.

Good variety of style and colours etc.

Buy with 100% confidence.

If they have caught your eye above something else then yes, go for it.

Only reason why I not longer use Browning is because I prefer Beretta. Just a personal thing. That's it.

I’ve had a 31/2” version of the one with quick release catch on forend not the newer Winchester SX4 clone same basic gun, for around five years it’s a cracking do all gun. I don’t shoot it much these days as I don’t wildfowl much or get out on pigeons due to work but it will be staying in my cabinet for anytime I can. I also use it on clays along with a Benelli Supersport. Value for money I think they’re great.
