    Miroku MK38 Grade 5 Trap Invictus Multi-Choke vs Fixed 3/4 / Full

I’m interested in buying the legendary MK38 Grade 5 Trap for clay shooting. I note that the latest Miroku MK38 Grade 5 Traps now come with Invictus chokes. I’m guessing this is because of the future with the Steel shot coming. My question is; should I buy the classic 3/4 & Full and get it...

    Windrush Saturday 16th 100Reg

I enjoyed the course Rich, good to bump into you guys on the way around. 'Twas a bit windy, which made for some random targets on some stands'. My score wasn't good but I blame the loan gun (partly me) enjoyed and will be back! ☺️?

    Windrush Saturday 16th 100Reg

Fair comment Steve, but I find it much more enjoyable when I hit some, how many depends on your skilled course setting and my ability. Averages don't concern me but ultimately I can't deny the want to improve and the class system and averages are how this is measured.  Looking forward to an...

    Windrush Saturday 16th 100Reg

I think you just spelt it out Clynt, this is for the more experienced shooters like yourself and not for the mid to low average shooters or those who don't have so much experience. I will be there, as I am at every shoot I can possibly get to learning as I go. I'm just thinking of the regular...

    Windrush Saturday 16th 100Reg

Not been there yet, heard really good things about the ground. Hope the weather is as kind to us as Steve's targets? The shoot needs to be friendly to peoples abilities and current averages including weekend shooters that don't shoot all the time. Just thinking of the people who struggle at...

    Best Hardy Leather Gunslip

I will be sending it back for the 2nd time. I would take a replacement if I thought it would last but I'm considering the path of a refund. Budget is around £200

    Best Hardy Leather Gunslip

Unfortunately it is a John Shooter. It's the second one I've had, really disappointed, as I like the slip. It just isn't built to last. This has happened in just 2 weeks.

    Best Hardy Leather Gunslip

I've recently had two leather gun slips which have both started to fall apart. Both the rivets and the stitching has started to come apart. I won't name the manufacturer as that's not fair, however I'm not happy with it so I've decided to look for another brand.  Can anyone recommend a good...

Hi Simbo, thanks for the advice, I will be shooting registered weekly if I can, so there won't be holding back or any sand bagging ? I genuinely want to learn and improve and the only way to do that is shoot 2/3 times a week and get to as many registered shoots as possible. No if I ever get to...

    WestonWood

Well if you were there you could make an observation, which you would be very welcome to, however, as you were not, you can only assume and study the scores and wonder how well you would have done? Maybe you would have scored 100 as it was so easy?? No disrespect. I found it a challenging, well...

Weston Wood didn't disappoint as usual, perfect conditions, no rain, wind was minimal and there were some great testing stands set. It also wasn't rammed so little queuing.  My first result in B class and scored 89/100 so quite happy with that. Still kicking myself for missing the others...
