    Practice/training with full chokes?

I have been thinking about this, does anyone do this? I'm not talking about a practice round, I mean when your properly practicing on a specific target over and over. Will practicing with just full chokes in reinforce your correct sight picture and also be more forgiving when you come to...

    Newbie question about cleaning

This is what I do; break down gun into 3 pieces remove chokes. spray cleaner down barrel and over chokes clean chokes with brushes+loo paper until sparkle. remove grease from forend and actio, clean action of all grime. scrub barrels with brushes, remove any grease on blocky bit put loo...

    CPSA Rankings

There's 100reg at the South West Shooting School tomorrow, near ish you. Take the plunge. At moment agree up to 100 miles but am only getting back into it, when I used to shoot we went all over the country, my dad (rip) who drove me everywhere never shot a single shot!

    CPSA Rankings

For 'SANDBAGGING' Would you not have to constantly shoot low scores? as the raw average thing by the cpsa should cover those trying to do this? I can't imagine the monetry benefits outweigh the longterm cost of number of shots you'd have to intentialy miss to keep in a lower class, must be very...

    CPSA Rankings

way I read that was not calling Guierini Guy fat I think he meant that we don't want to be in a position of not competing just so some people don't feel left out as they can't compete. I don't think it was a personal comment?

Junior Investment - Is it worthwhile?

I agree age is irrelevent with regard to participation but the big limiting factor for most people is cost, usually the older you get the more disposable income you have so helping out younger (less than 30?) shooters I think would be of benefit in the long run.

Junior Investment - Is it worthwhile?

Maybe making it cheaper for anyone under 30? Cheaper entry fees, membership etc. (I'm 32 so have no real vested interest in this suggestion!) It would be interested to see the age demographics from the cpsa.

Junior Investment - Is it worthwhile?

Interesting topic. I was a junior in the late 90's, I was quite good - AA class and placed at championships in juniors. Reached the point where I had to pay for it myself and stopped! Wasn't viable to continue at the level I wanted to, it was a shame but I didn't want to carry on half harted -...

Is this stock a normal sporting stock?

Ha, my cpsa number is in the 84000's, but that's ok (did have a 10 year break though!). I just find I prefer wrapping my hand around the forend and being able to do this more with a schnable vs beavertail

Is this stock a normal sporting stock?

Also have possibly a stupid question about buying second hand. Are there any tips on knowing whether a gun has had 1000's vs 100s of 1000's of cartridges through it? (I like schnabel, think they look and feel much nicer than blocky beavertails)

Is this stock a normal sporting stock?

I mean the stock not the forend, stock looks odd?

Is this stock a normal sporting stock?

Hi I'm interested in getting a Perazzi, I want one with a schnabel forend but they seem to be few and far between. I've found this one but the stock looks odd to me. It's a sporter but is that a sporting stock? Looks quite big and blocky to me.Thanks

    Alcohol's effect on performance

Maybe the alcohol has an effect on your depth of sleep also. This might be I thought the major thing, maybe I slept but the quality of sleep was poor.

    Alcohol's effect on performance

I've found some evidence from studies that suggest the alcohol can significantly affect your athletic performance far beyond actually feeling any effect which is interesting. I've just had 36 hours of norovirus which is the sickest I've ever been, is not pleasent, suppose I could have been...
