    Nordic Clays

I think at that price our once a month straw bailer will stick to the hand traps for now, batteries never go flat and a box of 150 clays for £12 😃

    zoli

No, you can adjust how tight/loose you want it, just the overall build and finish compared to the Beretta. Not knocking Beretta at all, used to own one. Just imho that's all, especially with the newer stuff.

I had the same thoughts when I picked up my CG Allsprt  compared to a Beretta 😄

    The steel thing

Yes, when you work out all the costs of a weeks shooting, you'd probably get 2 weeks x 2 abroad in a nice Hotel spread over the year 😁

    The steel thing

Had a shoot Friday and surprised on how quite the ground was and ask how business was going. They said the competition dates were filling up nicely, but the practice side seems to be getting very quite and the gun shop the same. Not looking good for clay shooting at the moment. When you work...

    laminate

Laminate would be no different to a walnut forend I would think. Can't blame you for wanting it thinned down, I've got large hands and had a XS Pro exquisite and found the forends way to big even for me. Was going to suggest just getting a Browning schnabel sporting forend and replacing it, but...

Not what we want to hear........

Funny they don't say anything about the 60ltrs in your car parked in your garage 😀

Not what we want to hear........

There are safety rules around for storage of gas cylinders, whether people adhere to them is another question, but look out if something happens and you have been negligent  And the the spotty kid is only doing what he's told to do Les, I'm sure he knows your over 70, but rules are rules,  I...

Not what we want to hear........

I'd be more concerned that a building contained gas cylinders than ammo.

Not what we want to hear........

You know I've heard this type of talk since I started shooting 23yrs ago. And here we are still shooting, I think we have more to worry about in the lead ban than legislation at the moment imho

Not what we want to hear........

I'm just going to wait and see what comes about, not worth stressing about, it's out of my hands. Mine are stored in the garage, as it's not part of the license requirement to keep them locked up at the moment is it, no matter what the Police who come knocking on your door say. And if that's...

    Disturbing

But the NRA buy their political clout that's the problem, not saying it doesn't happen here as when you look at the declared interests payments with our politicians it raises a few eyebrows. Unfortunately in this country it would be political suicide for a politician to promote anything gun related.

    Disturbing

But would we want to end up like them, with what seems like no restrictions at all

    Disturbing

I suppose it's a sign of the times, and in a good way, that the inquiry into the Plymouth incident was made public and not hidden away for a 100yrs like previous ones. But like the others it always seems to be the shooting community that suffer the consequences for failings to Police it correctly.

    Another old chestnut!

I suppose it will bring it in line with other countries, or do other countries call it pigeon too 🤔

    Disturbing

While I'm not in the Police I know someone who is, you'd be very surprised how under staffed and under founded they are, and their not alone in the public sector with that. What they have to do and put up with daily, I was amazed about. Their priorities with what they attend to first is set by...

    Disturbing

Strange but their always the first we call when something happens that threatens us. Whether we like them or not 😉

    Disturbing

Person I shoot with works with the NGO and a gamekeeper was renewing his FAC/SGC, it took for ever and they issued him a temp' one. Which duly ran out and then told him he would have to store his guns with a RFD until he got his certs'. How's he supposed to do his job without what amounts to his...
