Coming from a Target shooting background (FAC) it amazes me that you can get a shotgun certificate, buy a shotgun and then just turn up at a shooting ground with no training what so ever with a few mates (possibly doing same) and have a shoot.

It won't make any difference with sponsorship imho, shooting sports will always be seen by the vast majority as a negative. Just look what's happening to the shooting sports in the commonwealth games, I can see it being dropped by the IOC next
