    692 vs mk38 grade 5

Older berettas are great, newer ones are very iffy. You can get lucky but shouldn't need luck on a gun like that. I'd never recommend someone to buy new beretta now there are better guns for the same/less money available.

    perazzi mx 2000s &krieghoff k80 supersport & blasr f3 vantage

Another biased opinion but Krieghoff are in a league of their own. i can arrange demos as part of a lesson should you want to try out the various options and to have a chat about spec etc. ed

    Eye protection

I seem to remember hearing from a friend in the know that castellani and pilla are out the same factory, same material same machining but the poppers/studs are minutely different... i might be wrong though!

    Heaviest cartiges you have seen!

I shoot 42g 4s at high pheasants which are only 2.75" long. shot some big 52g stuff at geese back when you could shoot lead

    Lead under lights

Yes under lights they always appear much faster/further away. No real trick to it sadly just cut back. this is the meson reason I discourage my lot shooting under lights- it messes up your sight pictures for normal conditions if you do too much of it.

    Squeeze or Slap the Trigger

Long story short- don't worry about it!

Cartridge testing - how to really know...

Agree above. Leave the pattern plate and shoot what feels best. Sporting 100s take a lot of beating I'm probably switching to them next season

    Cost of Registered Shoots

I think rent and traps really need to accounted for in there somewhere along with tax, so once you put that in and consider that most shoots operate once a fortnight, it doesn't seem bad to me at all.  Also bear in mind that there will be days (bad weather etc) when they don't get the entries...

    Choke Choice?

Personally I'd go 1/2 1/2 fixed but if you do go multi save the £100 and get the short ones. Will be no real world difference to long ones except you have more money for shooting!

    Your actual CPSA class...

I took a couple of guys round today and thought it was a good round- much more what I would call registered standard targets. I don't go there often, love the ground/staff but the targets mid week are a bit too corporate normally. today was spot on.

    Best gun for young female

Yes, Simon at Doveridge is who I send any non Krieghoff work to. Great bloke top class work, cheap and won't hang around!

Teague mobil chokes for silver pigeon

Stick with what you got, you won't gain anything except a lighter wallet!

    Spring time dust off !

If I was looking to start getting competitive again I'd start by working on timing, maybe a mix of a round or two of trap just to get back into killing targets and steadier sporting/sportrap layouts focussing more on getting the methodology right rather than worrying too much about breaking the...

    Spring time dust off !

I take a break from clays over the winter, only shooting if asked to or for special occasions. I know a lot of people do and I think it can be quite beneficial.

    What Shooting Method ?

You can play around with your hold points to increase/decrease the amount of muzzle speed when using swing through (closer to trap = larger swing therefore greater muzzle speed). You don't always need a big swing through, which can be hard to control. whatever method you choose, the greater the...

Reg Sporting in the Southeast ( or lack thereof )

If I had to travel more than 45 minutes to pull the trigger I wouldn't bother unless it's for work! spoilt in the Midlands :-)
