Evening,

I earlier went shooting at Eriswell lodge for some flood lit sportrap, I find myself over leading absolutely everything. I mean like im putting an extra 2/3ft on a standard crosser where I would should be giving 1/2 inch in front. I only found this out after once my friends told me, I don't know whether it's due to my eyesight that I feel I need to try push the gun on more than what it needs to be or just me being rather out of touch with the gun.

Any advice would be great

Many Thanks

Lee

Yes under lights they always appear much faster/further away. No real trick to it sadly just cut back.

this is the meson reason I discourage my lot shooting under lights- it messes up your sight pictures for normal conditions if you do too much of it.

Thankfully there isn't anywhere around here where I can shoot under floodlights, if there was then I would be penniless as it would be "just a quick 100 after work" most days.

I've never shot under floodlit conditions, but wouldn't mind having a go.

glad I read this thread now, at least i'll have some idea why I'm missing then... .

I enjoy it as due to my job I can't always get the time at weekends to shoot with being on the farm so, but I always leave feeling deflated as I've missed far more than I've hit due to over leading!

Never gave it a serious thought - however looks great - especially looking over the shoulder of the PRO lot
