    Simon at doveridge

Simon is my first choice to send customers to when an adj comb or similar needs doing. Top man.

    Driven Duck

Not all driven duck shoots are like this at all. Yes there are some crappy ones, however one of the ones I go on consistently provides some of the best sport I see all year and that includes a huge amount of very expensive, and often deemed to be "the best" pheasant shoots in the country...

    What happened to?

Thief is a thief in my book!

    Food and eyesight.

Blood sugar and subsequent insulin release can have an effect on eye sight, not sure of it effecting dominance but not out of the question. Mr Lyons can shed more light im sure.

    What happened to?

He went bust and took a load of people for cash... Not the most popular chap about now hence his dissapearance.

    WTB SO5

Nice guns but I'm afraid they fall apart at the drop of a hat.  Ribs peeling off and stocks breaking for fun are a regular occurrence. One of my game customers had a pair of S06 and a pair of S09s, at one point only one functioning gun between the 4! Needless to say he doesn't shoot them any...

    Are inches important

34"... No, if you want to change go 32!

Cartridge prices on the way up.

You'd make a few quid if you imported from overseas- buying direct is no problem from the UK manufacturers but you will only get trade price which isn't much of a saving. the retailers aren't the ones calling the shots so to speak, they make naff all. The manufacturers make the wedge.

    Pete Dennett RIP

Very sad, a thoroughly nice bloke :-(

    Eye dominance issues sorted!

I've only ever seen one in action although they were doing one for a customer at the H and H factory last week funnily enough! Not much of a market though...

    Safety

My safety is locked off on all my guns

    Limits

Bird needs to break before the post, pretty simple in my book. i was waiting although not in an ideal spot to watch and chatting with customers, I think you made the right call.

    155 Yard Teal

155 lazered vertical real at grange farm :-) past 100 yards results get pretty patchy

    Guns/alcohol

I'd say probably a bad idea...

Be careful how you close your 692!

Yes I saw a pic of one of my customers a month or so back!  Laughable!

    scratched lens

I've never seen scratches polished out successfully, if you like the frames is just send them to Mr Lyons and get them re glazed with a good quality new lense.
