Well - someone has picked a side...

That is indeed what it says. It says that the poor chap had recently received an email about him possibly facing court action... Is it justr me or is this all getting way beyond outrageous?

Well - someone has picked a side...

I was going to ask exactly the same question.  Maybe there are no survivors to tell the tale?

Well - someone has picked a side...

I really admire whoever thought up the idea of publishing something on the internet an then telling people they don't want it published. Outstanding.

    Thieves

Les53 is quite right about Dorset. We have mains drainage, street lighting, tarmac roads in places and I'm proud to tell you that BBC2 is being introduced experimentally in the larger villages. Peeing in the bushes, really!

Thought I'd have a go at FITASC...

Yes Robert, the farmers' FITASC is once a month, but not always at Purbeck. Purbeck Shooting School do a registered FITASC once a month and a registered ESP once a month, too. Have a look at:    http://www.shooting.uk.com/fixtures.php Still knackered.....

Thought I'd have a go at FITASC...

On Wednesday I attempted the FITASC at Purbeck. It all came as a bit of a culture shock. Every now and then there's a "Farmers' FITASC" held sometimes at Purbeck, sometimes elsewhere, which I thought might be a gentle introduction to a different form of clay shooting. So I entered this week's...

I cannot think of a form of words adequate to express my grief for you...

A sudden unwanted dip in performance

It was indeed busy, crackin' little shoot, always enjoy it. Well done with the win!

A sudden unwanted dip in performance

Hmmm, focus focus focus. Wise words. And I think Wonko was advising me to avoid *****?

A sudden unwanted dip in performance

Oh dear. Just when it was going so well. I knew that changing guns wasn't going to suddenly propel me into the stratosphere, I'm much too old to believe you can Buy a Stairway to Heaven. I expected a bit of a blip as I became accustomed to my new toy, and I was massively surprised when on its...

Well - someone has picked a side...

Nicola Heron's Facebook page is an interesting read. You can go back and watch it all happening...

Well - someone has picked a side...

It's not really the members' fault if articles no association, rules, procedures and such like are inappropriately changed because they don't vote against that change. I think it's entirely normal for members of any association or club to simply trust those running it to do so in a proper...

    When you're smiling...

... the apparent comb height changes. I may have to do the botox thing...

Well - someone has picked a side...

I have a £20 note here that can soon find its way to any fund that may be set up to aid Mr Hames. While I cannot claim to know the ins and outs of this one something stinks. I don't know where the smell is coming from but I am beginning to feel quite strongly that things need thoroughly and...

    Another CPSA Director Resignation

This is a bit of a PR disaster. People like myself don't know the history, or the people, or the "back story" about who resigned and who didn't and who was voted out and found his way back, try to find out more using Google. That doesn't make you feel any better. I discovered a legal wrangle...

    Another CPSA Director Resignation

On the plus side I was at Purbeck Shooting School yesterday and there were a couple of dozen serving members of the armed forces being taken on a "taster" session - partly organised by the CPSA. So please don't anyone think I don't notice the good bits!

    Another CPSA Director Resignation

Ah well it was worth a try, Les53. I have to say that the overall feeling among people I talk to - barring a few notable exceptions who I'm sure we both know - is that we join to get our scores recorded and to be ranked and classified. That and the insurance. That's why I joined just a year...

    Another CPSA Director Resignation

Maybe by becoming involved. Taking an active interest in your local region, attending AGM, ensuring that you vote, making your opinion known. Perhaps by standing for election, writing letters, talking to CPSA officials, you could make a difference. But not, of course, if you're alone.

    Quite. And thrice quite.

    Its here!

I'm probably going to be branded a heretic here, but I actually rather like the way the colour fades with wear. The Greener in my avatar has just the slightest traces of colour hardening, most of it has worn away after its 100+ years. There are lots of classic English game guns around that over...
