    The great fall of China.

Prices on the continent may have gone down to stimulate demand - substitute higher profit margin for higher overall volumes - it's happened in SwitzerlandSwitzerland (with all sorts of products) after the revaluation of the Franc against the Euro in January. Over here, the cost base of the...

    Anti-drone munition

I wonder how well these behave with clays? http://petapixel.com/2015/08/19/this-new-shotgun-shell-is-for-shooting-down-drones/

    Where can I shoot Helice?

Dickie, A1 have Helice practice one or two Wednesdays a month, you can download the schedule from their website.  As Robert says, it can be addictive!

    My new HPX Perazzi DSR

Apologies in advance for the ******* question, but how come you weren't supplied with multi-choke barrels in the first place?  Assuming it's something like Teagues are better than factory, is 3/4 an optimal size for conversion? There's no implied criticism here, I'm just curious about the...

Outdoor World, Vaughan Mills, Ontario, Canada

Bass pro is great, Cabelas is a close runner up.  I've found a better gin selection on Cabelas than BassPro, but the Dallas BP has a range to "try before you buy"!!

    Recent Purchase Picture Thread!

What he hasn't said, is that not 3 minutes after telling the guy in the shop that he'd take it, he was straighting stands like nobody's business.  Seems the gun was made for him. Just have to worry about the advice regarding the sticker: it might throw the balance off, so make sure you have a...

    I've been busting..

I wouldn't say it's exactly cheap...   The 4x4 seems to go with the territory: A1 sees a lot of saloons (and some SUVs); Cambridge GC gas a lot more well used pickups and SUVs than saloons, but that may have something to do with the road to access the place being a nightmare on your suspension.

    "First Women" series of portraits

At least it's a shotgun, and a mark of the achievement.  Sad to say it could just as easily have been overlooked...

    "First Women" series of portraits

Someone mentioned something about clay shooting get some mainstream coverage the other day.  Just spotted this on a photography website I frequent, a series of photo portraits of the first women in the UK to achieve something in their field.  So there are some pilots, lawyers, and one Abbey...

    wabbits

With aa sub 12ftlb .177 I think 30/40 yards is about as far as I'd go. A good headshot out to 50yds is probably lethal, but closer in is probably more effective. The pellets you use will also have an impact on distance. I have some that will drop a pigeon at 25yds stone dead, but aren't so good...

    A1 SG - Dead & Buried

I had a nice couple of hours down at A1 today - my brother and I pretty well had the place to ourselves.  While I was waiting for my brother to arrive, Claudio very kindly took some time to have a chat and talked me through how OT is meant to work, and I'll be going back to give it a go sometime...

    Ejectors on Browning 525 Light

On mine, a Fabarm Axis, it was an ejector cocking rod that had bent and wouldn't move through the channel to, well, **** the ejector. The ejector itself was fine. Rods were replaced and it's back to normal. Gun was properly cleaned, oiled and greased, and no one could explain what had caused the...

    5 best sentences

Ah, Marxism/Socialism rears its head...!  As an ultimate ideal, yes, this could work, though no-one has managed to make such arrangements work yet. I do take a somewhat short-termist view that I would like to see something of a more immediate return on my investment in this country (taxes)...

    Hating my place of work

You have my sympathy.  We have similar security regs in parts of my office.  Causes all sorts of issues, like not being able to check ShootClay while standing around waiting for something to happen, but c'est la vie. Good luck with the FEO, I'm sure you'll manage to speak to each other soon...
