I'm in the process of having a laminate stock made for an air rifle, and it got me thinking about using the same material for a shotgun stock.
I think I've seen photos of a couple of them (I say think as I don't know if it was actual laminate or clever airbrushing) but not found much detail...
Wow, thank you all for the replies. I think I'll be giving the gun on offer a miss, but might still go try one out somewhere if I can. The few Berettas I've shot I haven't found particularly comfortable, but that didn't include a DT10, so I'll that to the list of things to try.
Dibs - thanks...
Yep, I think we are indeed talking about the same gun. The repaired stock is a bit of a turn-off for me, thanks for making the enquiry, I hadn't got that far. I know there are some very good repairers out there, but I think I'd rather risk it.
Can I ask why you didn't go for it?
Kemen K4s look like nice guns and get some good press. I've liked the ones I've held, though I haven't had a chance to shoot one. I spotted one for sale with a nice looking stock, ISIS recoil system installed, for less than £3k (around £2600), as a private sale. K4s on the market seem...
Sian: I apologise, no piss taking involved or offence intended. In fact quite the opposite, I take a similar approach to some of my possessions, and I'm trying to work out whether it [still] applies to this gun.
In terms of humour, I thought your comment about prizing guns from hands was an...
Sian - the fact that I am wondering whether to call it a day suggests that I'm not about to start paraphrasing Charlton Heston just yet...
Cockney21 - your one hour fix comment is very valid, but the problem is that it is not, it's going to be a while longer than that. The RFD is certainly...
Had a great day out shooting today. It seemed that I could hit almost anything, gun was comfortable in the shoulder, lead (as in the metal) was flying in the right direction, in other words, where I was trying to put it, I was in good company, the sun was shining... You get the idea.
A few...
Clays below the stand, Liz? I thought you were a dedicated skeet shooter these days?
OP, in my experience it was a lead issue, needed less than I expected.
Geordieboy, it is indeed maxpedition, jumbo version. Amazon stock them, also Heinnie Haynes. They are a bit "tacticool" if you go by the description, but really they're not...
Aren't these the new soft lenses with the corrective properties of rigid ones (for astigmatism, etc.)? I think the company also makes the ones you can wear overnight for corrected vision during the day.
Mr Lyons will know more...
I use one of these bags.
Visible from outer space, waterproof, fits 200 cartridges, water bottle, glasses, paperwork, odds and sods, it's comfortable to carry, and cost me £50 or so. Also available in other colours for the less adventurous.
21C with bright sunshine, few clouds no wind in Madrid just now, only a little cooler in Lisbon. Heck, it's 15C, no clouds, no wind here in southern Switzerland right now. Even the exchange rate works if you're coming from the UK!!
