So, an off beat question!

Are there ever any pairs shot in ZZ or Fan-32?

( Is it considered difficult/expensive enough without adding to the chaos? How would you score if the targets flew into each other? :) :) )

Nicola's gone and taken her 12,000 posts with her. A sad day.

:fie:  How the hell are you going to shoot a pair or doubles in ZZ headlice or whatever?

You don't know which trap will release, then you have a couple of seconds to shoot the target which can go off at any direction 360%

and you have to drop in inside the circle! Pairs :fie:

Just wanted to be sure! :)

Sim pairs could be tough going. On report, given precisely the reasons stated by SG above, might make for an interesting challenge!

When you shoot pairs, the fence does not come in to play , great fun, there is a british open pairs comp, I managed it to win it once

Not only is there Pairs, but there is Doubles where two of you shoot 3 target released at the same time. Now this is chaos!!

Imagine if you knew precisely where the birds were coming from, imagine how boring that would be!!

In 2014 the UK Pairs Championship was won on a 9 Ex 10 and the Doubles on 27 Ex 30, both of which is fantastic shooting.

If targets flew into each other, I would expect No Bird, Pair again, unless you had already fired both shots (Score 2 Zeros), or 1 shot which missed, then Pair again, (1 Zero Established). Never seen this happen though in 11 years.
