After not being able to fit in The Worlds in Florida I'm looking to shoot some domestic European competitions.
Where's the best resource to find a calendar or schedule of shoots.
Thanks.

PS yes I've seen the Fitasc website.

I think you should think twice about going abroad to shoot.

The weather might not be perfect.

You may not hit all the targets.

You may not win any money.

If the exchange rate drops again, it may be quite expensive, with travel costs, accomodation and things like.... food and drink!

Talking of food, you may wish to know that the French eat snails and horse meat.

And they often speak in foreign languages.

As well as Langoustine, Huitre, Foie Gras, Noix de St Jacques, Magret De Canard , Pintade , Quail etc,etc.. and about four hundred and fifty odd different cheeses to eat with some lovely proper bread and the finest wines you can buy in the wide world...if you can raise the cash,Champagne, Brandy, Cognac, Armagnac as well as other drinks ending with nac . Aye they eat and drink any old shoite down here :) ... the beer is admittedly pish! And ninety plus percent of the French people I know don't speak any foreign languages they only speak ... French!

Come to France shoot trap targets as cheap as chips £2.75 for a round of UT or OT in blazing sunshine for ninety percent of the summer so what if it rains the stands provide shelter, what's not to like about that? Why give your money to a some turag when it can stay in the EU.

Seriously check the FFBT website.

21C with bright sunshine, few clouds no wind in Madrid just now, only a little cooler in Lisbon. Heck, it's 15C, no clouds, no wind here in southern Switzerland right now. Even the exchange rate works if you're coming from the UK!!

€250 entry. Call it a grand for the weekend. More if the wife has to entertain herself while you are shooting! :) :)

Think I'll go sailing in Greece for a week instead!
