    Lubrication in the desert.

Degrease the gun, and use a very light oil PTFE should be fine, I have also heard people using talc powder but not sure how affect that is. Cleaned mine yesterday and used a light PTFE oil very sparingly so will see what happens...

    Which choke grease ?

What was wrong with the oil? There are quite a few grease products that would work, Clensoil and Tetra spring to mind

What sort of terain and paths should ESP majors be on?

Ideally varied terrain with suitable access and stands to enable all shooters to shoot fairly. So no stands that are slippery, on a slope etc. Think the minutes allude to the terrain for target presentation rather than access.

    Fixed choke changing

The majority of perazzi's are choked to order, mine was originally perazzi 7 and 9, took it to Bill Blacker who opened it out to two tight halves. The patterns are incredible, just ask GavB who witnessed their awesomeness at Weston Wood today using Fiocchi F3's :-)

I seem to have lost it

Tom my perazzi's is tight 1/2 tight 1/2 and will kill anything, tried the Fiocchi F3's through it on Sunday and the kills were devasting. One word of caution.... Chokes alone won't compensate or be a silver bullet, you still have to approach shooting the same way, yes the chokes are a bit more...

I seem to have lost it

An important factor can be expectation, sometimes we feel we should be hitting more targets but in reality we might be performing well on a hard course, there have been numerous shoots where I thought I had under performed only to find the rest of the scores were all down as the course was...

I seem to have lost it

Tom, go see a coach, two reasons, 1 this is normal for someone learning to shoot and 2 you need a coach to help you develop a solid technique so when things start to go wrong you have the ability to go back to basics.

    Cpsa monopoly?

You can be a member of several affiliated associations, such as the American NSCA, Scottish CPSA or one of the European ones. This then allows you to participate in Major competitions and be eligible for any medals/cash payouts

OK just to be clear, the BO is NOT at Southdown this year, it's at a very good ground, course setter is a bit of a whack job but you can't have everything....

    Porting and Recoil

I got told of an old school method for checking your gun has the right pitch... Measure the distance from the trigger to the bottom centre of the grip, that distance should be the same as the distance from the wall to the barrel (put the butt on the floor, the barrel angel from the wall can thn...
