Shoot right handed will make life far easier (Solid rightie with strong left dominance!) it will take 2-3 weeks to get you shooting right handed.... As you have only just started again you have nothing to loose! Will make buying a gun or guns far easier and far cheaper!

Hello its  a tricky one and budget is tight but do able.  Fit is the key, so an adjustable comb makes that easier. Get some lessons and be guided by a trusted instructor, shoot it before you buy and if not sure walk away loads of guns out there.  Buy used for better VFM and buy a known brand...

MK60 trap? may be a fairly rare gun, got to be similar money to an MK38 trap but the advantage of a high rib (whats the year code?) Don't suppose its got a cast on stock has it?

For long guns yes, but no longer for pistols (LBP and Muzzle loading excepted) which you can still get for other good reasons but not for target shooting, stalkers, stockmen, knackermen still have pistols if they have good reason .38,.22rf, 9mm etc sometimes single shot or restricted sometimes not.

If you look at the history of firearms legislation the conservatives have banned more firearms than labour both semi cf rifles (post hungerford) and handguns (post dunblane) banned by conservative home secretaries labour only banned .22 target handguns. Maybe they just got beaten to the punch...

Treetops used to be brilliant the current management are somewhat lacking in my opinion, last time I shot at st dials (hart events) it was lacking in facilities but they may have other venues with better facilities. Where is the company based? If Newport way then brook bank is a serious option
