    Gamebore evos

I've fired 200 of my initial puchase through chokes ranging from skeet to 1/2 and find them a very good cartridge, very clean as well!

    Eye dominance best solution

I was always told that I had a left master eye and learned to either close my left eye as I took the shot or had a patch on my glasses (which is what I still use). However some years back when I had a standard eye test I mentioned this to the Optition who carried out a few extra tests and then...

    Bought a pogo stick

Many years ago I had a Beretta 303, looking back it was the one gun that I should never have sold! I always shot well with it, it was easy on the shoulder and to me the only negative was the perceived safety aspect. I sold it after a couple of years as I used my O/U more (and could use it on...

AE Clarkes Gun shop in Camberley Closed?

I did indeed collect 1000 on Saturday (I asked them to put them by). These days I only buy fibre wads as most of the "hay bales" shoots that I go to insist on them. I will indeed keep an eye on SCATS if nothing else they are local!

    80 yard pheasants?

I'm not sure, I loaded for a couple of guns last year who were using 32gm 5's on "unexeptional" birds (Partidge & Pheasant mixed) who both more or less said they only wanted a dead in the air kill. No thought about eating the remains!

AE Clarkes Gun shop in Camberley Closed?

Yes, bad news - there is very little left around this part of Hampshire/Surrey. Must have just been bad luck, they were always helpful and the cartridges went at a good price too. Will give SCATS a try near Bramley !
