I will shoot 24 & 28 tomorrow and see if my misses are notably better ?

 
For some reason, quite what I don't really understand (or for that matter care), I and the two guys I shoot with most ( who changed having seen the difference in my scores) all score noticeably better (c +10%) with 24 than 28 in the same cartridge.  I carry a box of 28g 7 for distant stuff, but I don't know why as 24g performs just as well, I guess it makes me feel better...

 
I have found this to be true at trap. I know the main reason but I have posted it before and suffered ridicule so I ain't going there again.

Take a Bow Paul120 will lend you one ! you can get 24g arrows :cool:

Totally agree. If 24g is good enough for edge on going away stuff, must be OK for everything.

Should be made compulsory for all disciplines IMO.
