Thanks for all the advice and the reality of been without the gun for so long has sunk in, there is no way I'm accepting 6-9 months if a repair takes that long I will be looking for replacement or refund, will let you's know how I get on

That's excellent news, and I should jolly well think so too :)

Bloody hell I wish I never opened this thread!

going to look at a Beretta with the view of buying tomorrow to say i'm slightly put off is an understatement!!!

I have had about ten and only ever had one with a heavy trigger and a couple with ejectors timing issue the former sorted by gmk no prob the latter a very easy 5 min adjust from any gun smith. Beretta are the best end of

Wouldn't let it put you off a beretta the dt11 is my 4th beretta and it's only a coating coming off the action, I'd confidently say if I didn't want to have it repaired it would still out last me, my 687 was 15-16 years old god knows how many shells used for rough shooting and clays never missed a beat, and nearly got what I paid for it

It's my first Beretta looking at a 692, I've a niggle that says i need a beretta in my life!

Dealer said I should have the serial number next week so I can start the process of changing my licence while he sorts out the import permit

The delay with repairing the action seems to be GMK and beretta only ship every 3 months or so

I'm not a big fan of GMK they seem to take ages to do anything.. When I first got my dt11 I had an ejector issue and it took them 6 weeks before they even looked at it and they sent it back and it still was not fixed.. Strange beretta will only ship every 3 months considering the volume they must produce?..

Ejectors timing is a 5 min job for any good gun smith they just hit it with a hammer in the right place no need for a gmk 3 month job.

Ok just got a phone call from dealer he has serial number for me, but it's going to be brand new gun wood an all, but he has been assured the wood is of a Standard of my own, time will tell will post a pic when licence comes thru you's can Judge for your selfs, might be better off considering the dt11 r supposedly hand balanced

I've yet to see one with bad wood.
