Beretta Gold E HP steel proof ??

Hi all as title can anyone confirm that the beretta Gold E is high performance steel proof and for dy lys stamped ? I know std steel is ok but want to know about. HP

No it’s not

They do have 3" magnum chambers though so would probably pass a hp steel proof at your own risk. Any decent gunsmith should be able to arrange this.

Ok thanks it was actually for a project as a lot of guys in the states have put gold e barrels on their Golds to lighten up the front end , just thought I’d kill two birds with one stone if I could lighten mine and get it hp proof in the bargain
