Hello, I've not been on in a long time as my shooting - well clay shooting at least - has taken a back seat. Between Covid, building a house, starting a family and work I just haven't had a chance.

Therefore I have decided to sell my Browning ProTrap Adjustable. It is the black actioned one, not the high rib.

My query was what is a fair asking price? I'm completely out of touch with gun prices.

The gun is pretty well as new and has had at most 400 shots through it. Cased with all the balance weights, pads, chokes, triggers etc.

I'm looking for a straight sale and asking for advice on what is a realistic and fair selling price.

Any guidance much appreciated.

Yours looks very well - as new so in theory you should be looking for something in the upper side. Lots of them in UK tho - and market will tell...
Quite rare here in EU (either new or second hand) - I have sold mine in July for 3000€ (~2500 GBP) here in EU.

P.S. Bought it for 2500€ (2150 GBP) back in 2018 - so it was a reasonable investment.

All gun dealers are awash with second hand guns and plenty of shooters I know have been offered paltry amounts on trade in deals. Try gun trader to test the market is good advice.

Having said that, it is a nice gun you have so you should sell it easily if you ask a realistic price.
